Not a whole lot has changed with this new gear list. I wanted to get an Arc pack with the heavier duty 4.2 oz/sqyd Gridstop fabric. Unfortunately, you can only get an Arc Haul in that fabric and ZPacks no longer offers custom orders. The 62L Arc Haul is just way too big and so I’m right back where I started with the Arc Blast. Even at 55L, the Blast is still on the big side but I will make do. I’ve added to and regrouped my Sierra gear options.

What do you use the gossamer gear 1/8″ pad for?
Erika, I use the GG pad for daytime breaks and a little extra padding at night. Also, it’s a little extra protection against pricklies in SoCal when cowboy camping.
